I've mainly had co-workers say something like "Let me hold your keys. I'll be back in a little while" as their getting off from third shift and I'm coming on to day shift. One a couple weeks ago said "Let me drive your car!" I responded "I'm not sure I want to do that after seeing the condition of yours". Got a room full of "Oooohhh"s.

Are there no other nice cars in some areas that people walk up to a Camaro owner and ask to drive it? I like my Camaro as much as the next guy... but it is just a Camaro after all.

I was sitting next to a new Ferrari waiting for my son, who I was picking up at the airport, and I didn't see anyone asking that guy if they could drive it...

My wife won't touch it -- does not even want to try. I've never had anyone ask to drive it -- ride -- but not drive. Outside of the service folks who work on it, I'm the only one who drives it -- no wheel rash or scrapes that way ;o)...

I have let few guys who work for me take mine for ride. But then again they are out driving my trucks all day and those are 150k-300k so I figure if I trust them in that then my cars cheaper to replace. A stranger I guess I would swap keys with someone for a follow cruise that had a car I wanted to try, Boss 302, Challenger r/t or srt, Porsche, Aston, Viper, Corvette, AMG Mercedes, BMW M anything, Audi S anything, CTS-V.

I've had a few ask I always say yes, they get all excited until I say it's going to be 500 dollars, they can't go faster than 40, I'm riding with them, and were only going around the block. Haven't had any takers yet but never hurts to put it on the market.
