dealer shaved ya or not???
In my quest I found a 14 with 10k over, and a 15 with 10k over and a 15 with 5k over. I will not pay more than msrp.
How did you all do with the dealers???....did you get shaved over msrp? C'mon be truthful. ...AND I argued with a guy at one of the largest chevy dealers in the north east a few days ago. He assured me nobody had allocation yet and/or placed any orders. I told him he was wrong. This is so disappointing when people who are paid to know actually know nothing and I guy like me with google knows more...sad. |

I bought from family-owned dealership operating in the same location for over 50 years. They do not sell anything over MSRP. That is their policy, and because of it they have loyal customers and long-term relationships.

On the 23ed my dealer got a allocation. I do not know any 2014s that are for sale at MSRP. To many buyers for so little cars. So that's the way it goes. Sell the car for what they can get for it. They are in business to make money. If you only want to pay list, then you will not get one, unless they make more. I am sure dealers can sell one at MSRP but only to a customer that they have a good relationship with. I got mine at MSRP but I have other arrangements also.

One for sale at MSRP here. I'm not sure if it is a '14 or '15, but I can check if someone is interested.
-Greg Edit: It is a 2015

My dealer has an allotment for me for a 2015 at MSRP which I have a deposit on. I don't believe the system will allow them to place the order yet.
Does anyone know when he will be able to enter the order with GM? I guess the better question is: typically, when does GM start accepting orders for new models not in production yet? Last edited by macalot; 01-29-2014 at 01:41 PM. Reason: added at MSRP |

Id say MSRP os probably the best deal you're going to get on a limited production car

Holding allocation #2 at a local dealership, MSRP for a '15 MY was offered to me... I'm 50/50 if I want the Z/28 or not, well more like 40/60.

It was done when I bought my ZL1 that I am keeping. I would think there are a few 15s that can be had for list. But I would not believe any of it unless some one shows the sales recpt that shows list price. I would think most are going to say they paid list. It could also be a trade involved.
Yes some allocations have been given out for 14s |
