6-8 Week Wait is now 13 Weeks - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Before I ordered my Camaro I was told I would have to wait a maximum of 8 weeks. My dealer was very clear with the delivery estimate. Now in week 13 I'm wondering why it hasn't arrived.

I ordered mine back in October. Original TPW was 12-31. sigh.

I've been receiving updates through Becky. Don't know what I'd do without her.

Ordered your car in October and you still don't have it?

I ordered my ZL1 on October 12 2012. Dealership advised they had an allocation and would take 6-8 weeks. In January 2013 I called GM customer support for assistance and later that month my dealership General manager contacted me. General manager advised that they were going to have their Meeting with the district rep on 1/29/13 about my status still at 1100. Meeting took place at the dealership and they called plant manager to confirm that they have a sold order to push through. Then my order changed to 3000 status on 2/18/13. I am now at 3400 status with a TPW of 3/18. Best of luck with your orders. Both Becky and Maureen r the best.

Order Mine 1/21...TPW 2/25....Built 2/28... Arrived at Dealer......3/11...Picking it up 3/16 .... That's 7 weeks! Sounds like you dealer might be jerking you around a bit, or they don't get a big allocation of camaro's... My 1LE arrived on the truck with 5 other camaro's...

Sorry to hear yours is taking so long!

No. Intital TPW of 12/31 was moved back to 2/11, just like several others here. It was built around the 15th. Been sitting since, waiting for warmer weather.

Welp im thinking about getting my depo back I was told the weather no rail cars to tires then i was told not shipping out till april because of the weather which i think is a load of BS because a few of my friends already have theres and there tpw was just a weeks ago If i was told 13 weeks or more i would bought my Nismo 370z instead

Those times are always estimates. The typical answer is "6 - 8 weeks".

At the moment, it depends as much on what you ordered, as it does the build date. The 1LE's and ZL1's have been bayed because of weather. These types of delays are not figured into the estimate.
