Need help with new phones
As the title says i need help with what new phone to get since my KRZR is on its way out. I've been looking at either the LG Dare or the Samsung Omnia and have been debating over it for the last few day and I prefer the Omnia over the Edge but the problem is that I don't know if the Omnia is worth the $30 a month data charge. So I guess what I am asking is that for anyone that has/had one of these phones if they could give their input on the pros/cons of the phone that might help me decide.
Thanks for any helpful input Edit: I have Verizon and it's really the only option since no other services get decent reception around here

I don't have any experience with either of those phones, but I love the data on my iphone. It crashed (and needed to be re-synced to work again) while I was traveling and I couldn't believe how much I missed it.
My next phone will probably run Android, but it will certainly have data. |

If you need or want the data, go for the omnia or versa for verizon. I also have AT&T and I love my iphone, I will never go back to verizon

I have the LG Dare, and i've really enjoyed it so far. I mostly text (barely ever talk on the phone) and it has 3 different texting features, normal t9 (i think it's called), you can turn it to the side and its a keyboard, or you can draw letters with the tip of your finger. The Camera is decent and it actually has a flash so that's a plus.
The touch screen is very user friendly, you don't have to touch something a dozen times for it to work. umm anything else you wanna know??

IMHO the radio performance of the dare is going to marginally outdo the omnia, so if you're ever in fringe coverage, I'd say the dare would be your best bet.
