The reverse lights is just another reason you could be pulled over for.
Keep in mind Fresno has a crime and gang problem. LEO's will use minor violations as legal probable cause to stop and identify you.
If you associate or frequent these problem areas, you could provoke a chat with a LEO.
Another teachable moment provided as a public service.

I have owned about every type vehicle Chevy makes from Corvettes to Chevettes and everything in between. I keep all my cars legal equipment wise and I have never been stopped of equipment violations. I have only been stopped for speeding twice and was fined for it. I knew I was speeding both times and guess what, I paid my fines without complaining or ranting about how the cops were harassing me for going 6 mph over. If you know your car is illegal don't cry and complain just accept your penalty and make your car legal. It's not the end of the world....

Incidentally, to avoid damage, you should park your Camaro closer to the curb on the right.

No problem bro, they illuminate just like the stock reverse light.

I am glad painted bow tie is not a crime!LOL Yes, I will post again in here if the cops will give me shit on my lights and all. I will have the shop remove the tint this weekend so I can move on with my life.

It's not how they illuminate, it's how they appear when off.

What do they care about the appearance as long as they function well.

Lamp function is not the legal issue. The lens modification is.

I have my tail lights blacked out on my camaro, and have had my trucks lights blacked out for the past 5 years with no problems. It is a risk you have to take, and it is just as legal as most people's muffler deletes, CAIs, headers, and other mods that aren't street legal.
