Reintroduction and Camaro Round 2

So last February my 2010 was totaled because of a young girl on a cell phone not stopping at her red light. I still miss that car. I put so much work into that car and was unable to get all my parts off due to how mangled it was. Couldn’t get my MGW off. Had a lunati cam in it. Literally just had a brand new clutch, slave cylinder, and monster billet throw out support bearing installed. But anyways, that’s all in the past.

A week ago today my fiancé said, “hey, I found this camaro about 20 minutes from the house at a Buick/gmc dealer. Let’s go look”. We get there and immediately take the car out, letting her drive first and I cram myself into the back seat because our salesman was 7ft tall. Then I drive it. Then we Get back to the dealer, numbers work out, and we drove away with a new camaro. Almost 2 years to the exact date I purchased my 2010.

This one is a 2012 2ss with the LS3. Had 53k on it. From what I can tell it has bmr lowering springs, bmr strut tower brace and trans tunnel brace. Long tube headers. Full 3 inch exhaust. 1le shift knob and boot. It does not sound cammed like my 2010 but it honestly doesn’t feel much slower than my 2010. But I’m holding off on really getting on it until I get the tune checked by my shop next week. Just wish I didn’t sell my 1le rims now! There’s only a few small things I’m looking to do to this car and I’m in the process of changing out all the fluids, which btw, never trust the dealer when they change the oil. This car was 2 quarts low.
