Rear Cradle/Differential Bushing Kit for 2010 Camaro (Street Version)

Minimize wheel-hop and reduce rear cradle movement in your 2010 Camaro with a Rear Cradle/Differential Bushing Kit from BMR Fabrication. Manufactured from low-deflection polyurethane, this kit includes the BMR “street version” differential bushing kit (BK001) and rear cradle insert bushings (BK016). The BMR Rear Cradle/Differential Bushing Kit (BK020) minimizes rear cradle movement and provides additional rigidity for the differential which ensures maximum power transmission to the wheels. The rear cradle insert bushings install inside the air gaps of the stock rubber bushings without removing the rear cradle from the vehicle for an easy installation. The differential bushings are made from 68 durometer polyurethane to allow more consistent launches and better handling without significantly increasing noise, vibration, or harmonics.

The BK024 rear cradle bushing kit is the full kit that uses our BMR pro differential bushings which are a bit higher durometer then the street differential buhings.

Correction: I just realized I confused our BK024 pro rear cradle bushings with our BK029 pro differential bushings. The BK024 is a complete cradle kit that uses cradle bushings as opposed to just cradle bushing inserts. hope this clarifies it a bit more.

The Differential bushings are a bit of bear to install, but the cradle bushings are pretty easy as long as you have the tools to do it. The cradle has to be lowered enough to slide the insert of the top of the stock cradle bushings, then the insert has to be slid in the bottom of the stck cradle bushing. Once all that is done the cradle has to be bolted back into place.

The inserts are really very simple. You basically just lower the exhaust, remove the 4 main cradle bolts and lower the cradle about 3 inches. The inserts install into the voids of the OE rubber bushings, making the bushings essentially solid poly/rubber. There is a little more to it but you can view a more detailed set of instructions HERE if you are interested in the procedure.

The differential bushings are not near as easy, mostly due to the press fit of the bushing into the differential. For this install you must lower the differential and hole saw the OE bushing out, then pry the bushing shell out of the differential. BMR, i notice that you offer both rear cradle bushings street (inserts) and full replacements (pro). At what point do you believe you would upgrade to pro or use pro to begin with. I am in the process of thing adding an e-force supercharger to my car, and what to tighten the suspension a little.

I know pedders recommends anything over 500rwhp you should upgrade to their solid bushings and not the inserts.

With the addition of the supercharger I would definitely do the BMR full replacement bushings (pro). With that kind of power controlling the movement in the rear suspension is key and the pro cradle bushings do that the best.

There has been a little bit of confusion regarding differential and rear cradle bushing kits. Here is a little bit of extra info. I hope this clears up any confusion.

BK001 - This is the street version of our differential bushings. These bushings have a 68 durometer. This part number does not include rear cradle bushings.

BK016 - This is the street version of our rear cradle bushings. These are inserts only. This part number does not include differential bushings.

BK020 - This is a combo kit that includes BK001 and BK016. There is a $20 discount if you buy the combo kit.



BK029 - This is the Pro version of our differential bushings. These bushings have a 95 durometer. This part number does not include rear cradle bushings.

BK024 - This is the Pro version of our rear cradle bushings. These are complete bushings, so the stock rubber bushings must be removed before installation. This part number does not include differential bushings.

BK030 - This is the combo kit that includes BK029 and BK024. There is a $20 discount if you buy the combo kit.
