Vinyl on rims?
Anyone put vinyl on their rims instead of painting it?
im looking to put vinyl over the machine silver color on my rims which isnt too too much..so seems like it'd be an easy DIY project..jus curious to how peoples experience has been with vinyl on their rims. Theres what im expecting to accomplish lol thats jus some quick photoshop for an idea..what do u think?

Here's what I did to mine. You can't even tell they are vinyl unless you touch it (which was driving me crazy at the MiFBody show because everyone kept touching my rims instead of asking me about them
 ). The pics don't really do them justice. It was very easy to do (I think the gills were harder) and I like that it changes the look of the stock rims and I can change it later if I get bored without spending a lot of money.

Oooh, where did you get that vinyl? I tried the lugnut vinyl and didn't quite work out for me.
