Has anyone tried to remove the sun visor safety stickers
Since the really small sun visors are plastic, I was wondering if anyone has tried to removed the safety stickers (the air bag warning one) that are on the sun visors. In a black interior car, they really stick out.
Let me know if you have. I really want them gone, but do not want to mess up the visors if they do not come off correctly.

I removed 1 of mine so far. The driver side peeled off pretty easy. I need to use a hair dryer on the passenger side to heat the glue. It didnt leave any mess behind either.
Looks 40 times better than with it there. |

you can go to jail for that?? somehow I don't think anyone would ever look for those to be missing, but i could see it being one of those things they tack on if they get you for doing something stupid/wreckless 'ok, doin 95 in a 55, illegal lane changes, wreckless driving, and OH! You don't have the airbag stickers on your visors either!'

Did you use a hair dryer on the driver side to remove the sticker?

No, it just came off pretty easy in 2 big sections. The passenger side started coming off in little pieces so I will just heat it. I wouldnt look into it any further than one got less glue or whatnot.

Cool. I am going to try the hair dryer to get them off. My driver side seems to want to peel off by just picking at the corner, but then i chicken out. It will be good to get rid of those hidous stickers.

I can just imagine some future owner 20 years from now, searching for replacements for these. And of course they won't exist.
No Concours Trophy there!

I am taking mine off too - They ruin the look and God Forbid don't leave your visor down and go look at the it from the front - ACKKK! Otherwise I am completely satisfied with my Camaro.
