Yeah, I know. No way to track where they really ended up, especially close to state lines, but at least gives us somewhat of a number.

The only one delivered before mine at my dealership (silver SS) was sold at auction the next day for $4,000 over list, and the next phone call they got about it was from the Georgia State Police because it had been involved in a high speed chase! The paperwork was still trying to catch up with it!

Thanks!! I will look around. Its a 69' SS. The owner saw my car at a show and wanted pics with my car.

SummoneR,

You took down the link to your car pictures, found a paint guy and am very close to putting the Silver Cowl Stripe on, question, did you do anything with your gills? Not sure what color to put on, but definitely want to do something.

Also, at a Camaro gathering a couple weeks ago, noticed a couple cars with Chrome wheels that look outstanding, especially Red. How do you think the ABM will look with Chrome, I tend to think it will look awesome

Sweet!! the silver and ABM look amazing the hood spears are a great way to get a nice touch without covering up too much ABM.

I have some black faded gill vinyls, I plan to redo all my vinyl as it was the first time doing it I have a few mistakes, but overall it all looks great. I also have the faded mail slot vinyl. I think any color other than a black fade would look like a sore thump poking out on the car. The black gill vinyls, whether they are a fade or the edge type help give the appearance of functional IMHO. But a solid color in any color even black is too wide.

I also have silver vinyl over my bowties, looks great matches the spears.

I think Chrome wheels would look amazing on ABM, I plan to have my factory wheels chromed, and use them for winter driving and then to get a set of aftermarket wheels bigger/wider etc.. for my summer shoes, when I can afford it of course. I love chrome wheels! the look and the ease of cleaning them. The factory wheels in chrome look great, Jayson on here bought his first Red V6 with the chrome wheels added. NICE!! Too bad it was from a dip $*&T dealer who charged way too much for it.

iPhone pics, I will try to get some better ones after a good waxing.

He is going to start the project on Tuesday, I will post pictures once completed. He is going to paint the gills to look like the '69 version, meaning a metallic silver on the raised sections and then black in the middle. He seems to know what he's doing, so I'm going to trust him some.

Has anyone seen a pic of an ABM with American Racing Torq Thrust M wheels in chrome finish? I cant seem to find any and I purchased a set today. I was hoping to get a sneak peak what they will look like on the car to see if I made a good choice.
