Essential mods???
I want to hear from fellow Camaro5 members....What are mods that you have added to your car, in which you were so happy with the addition that you think everyone should add this to their camaro regardless of trim? Maybe something that exceeded your expectation!
There are so many modifications that can be done, I think this could help as a starting point for people just getting started. |

CAI, FLOWMASTER Axle-back exhaust for starters, gained about 2-4 mpg after adding these bad boys...

I think a cai goes without saying, added hp and the increased mpg more than pays for it in the long run. Anything that adds power and mpg you would be a fool not to do so I'm surpised, tho maybe I shouldn't be based on their track record of the last quarter century, that gm doesn't design these cars with one of these.

For the SS: LT headers, ported TB, CAI, exhaust, suspension upgrades...and a tune. You will happy with this...for a month or so, then you will want more. The Mod bug is highly infectous so beware!!

Cut off the stock garbage cans GM calls mufflers, replace with cat back or axle back of your choosing.

Cold air with scoop for sure! I have a m6 and put about 300kms on in te last week, haven't had the skip shift activate once yet. I have the eliminator on the bench in the garage but haven't needed it yet.
