Michigan people needed for Supercharger - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I did some looking around and asked a few questions. Here is a response i got from a manufacturer.

"O2 Force forwarded me your e-mail about the V6 Camaro kit. They contracted my company to build their kits and remanufacture all of their old ones. I am currently finishing up an SS kit and would love to do a V6 car but have had trouble locating a car for mock up. If you know of anyone in the Grand Rapids, Michigan area that would like to help out, please let me know."

"Since I'm a new company I wouldn't be able to offer a kit for free in return for using it for mock up unfortunately. It would cost $2000 including installation and dyno tune. I have a great tuner but would need software to use on it as well. I can mock the kit up in a week and then go to CAD and CNC with the kit before needing the car back for a test fit. If the person was local they could have their car back in between. Once I get a tuning option and the kit finalized it would be off to the dyno. My base kit will be 6 psi. My plan was to do the V6 car first but ended up scoring an SS to work with and that is almost complete. I will be posting that kit on
Camaro5 in the next week or 2."

If anyone is interested, PM me or post a reply so I can let these guys know. Im not going to promise anyone anything, but it's worth a shot if they want to build one.

I'm from around the Grand Rapids area! But...I'm stuck in North Carolina since 2006 in the military..lol Sounds like a good deal man. Michigan seems to be a big state of most automobile forums, love it.

I think your right about Michigan haha. These guys need a car so they can build one, test, tune and dyno. Any takers?

Not sure if it's the same shop... but there was a shop a while ago looking for a test mule car in grand rapids area.... I'll volunteer my car for a lot of things... however being an R&D car for FI... well.... i'll pass on that one...
