ZL1 Tire Day

Two are for my Son's RS. The rest are for the ZL1 in the next 2-3k miles. M&H skinnys are on the front and Hoosiers are for test and tune tomorrow. My head hurts and my garage smells like a tire factory.

Another happy Tire Buyer customer I see. I know how you feel. 2 years ago I was road racing and 1/4 mile racing.

I remember you from the CTS-V list. Didn't you have one and then get rid of it and buy a SRT8 300 ? How did you make your way to getting another GM vehicle ? :-)

Long long story. Had 2 CTS-V's, 2 SRT8's, another CTS-V and now the ZL1. The 300C SRT8 was my favorite for drag racing, but the ZL1 is really hard to beat for road racing. Both CTS-V gen I's were nightmares for reliability, but the new ones seem to be MUCH better. I only owned my 2010 CTS-V for 6 mos. before trading it for the ZL1. Couldn't stand the recaro seats. Plus it was time for a convertible........a 580hp convertible. So here's the last 12 years or so:

2004 CTS-V Black
2005 CTS-V Silver
2006 300C SRT8 Black
2006 300C SRT8 Silver (643rwhp)
2010 CTS-V White (609rwhp)
2013 ZL1 BRM

Weld RTS 17x5 with M&H 28x4.5x17 and RTS 17x10 with Hoosier 28x10x17
