That is nice to hear, I think they are on the right track staying on top of issues as they come up.

Has the problem been corrected? I'm awaiting my VIN being that my TPW is this week. I wonder if they're holding off on M6 cars being produced all together?

Although that doesnt seem probable considering theyre shipping new trannys to the people whose broke. I would assume those would be problem free and not the same faulty ones....

So if I go bracket racing I have good chance my 2LT M6 will beat the SS because he is a DNF?

I feel your pain DK. Look at it this way, it least he didn't poke a hole in the oil pan. You are drivable until body parts arrive. And it's not an eye sore unless you look down. Oh, and you should be able to put the tranny issue behind you now that you've lived it. Us that now are waiting to be built or in QC with the M6 are going to live the lengthy hold/wait status. Enjoy your car, I hope the bad is over.

The TR6060 is produced by Borg Warner and is the evolution of the T56, a very well proven transmission that's been around since early 90's. The T56 was produced for a variety of manufacturers for high hp models including f-bodies, vettes, vipers, cobras and the vanquish and DB7 Aston Martins. Your TR6060 can be found in vettes, G8, CTS-V, ZR1, viper, GT500, etc. The transmission itself is bullet proof; I imagine the problem has more to do with the launch control, though I'm not sure how that's integrated.

i just test drove one today vin 15xxx and i tried out the lc about 4 times and nothing broke i was weary of trying it since the problems but it didnt break i also tried to launch it without lc and it bogged down real bad then took off so the lc makes a big difference in launching the car

I was at my dealer today, he has a ss for someone sitting in qc. Guy sent him a link to a web site to says we are not alone. Same cars you listed are having the same thing going on.
