finally got home from work today (11:30pm here). the dealership usually closes at 8pm, but i was finishing a sale.
i took the plunge this morning and tonight, i drove my mustang home. i am already missing the camaro, but i feel better whenever i hear the engine and exhaust of my new car. i usually don't go the extended warranties, but with only 700 miles left on the factory warranty, i opted for a 100k 5yr warranty (that has 65k miles and 3 yrs left). it also helps that the service department and mechanics at my dealership are top notch. i am still a huge fan of camaros, but for now i got a rustang. i will probably end up with a 6th gen SS some time down the road, depending on how it turns out.

I recently did the same thing. I miss my Camaro and all the work i put in it but i really wanted a 400 + hp v8 and the 13 GT was priced right compared to a 13 1ss. When the 6th gen comes out i'll be back most likely. Anyway, enjoy that 5.0. Here's a pic of mine...

I AM LOVING THE POWER THIS CAR HAS! i knew the extra 89hp and 112 lb/ft of torque would be a noticeable difference, but compared to my camaro, it is a HUGE difference. i forgot how much power they make, given i haven't driven my dad's 5.0 in almost a year and i drove his car too easily out of respect to notice just how much raw power it makes. i think the only way i'd ever own another V6 is if it was turbocharged. btw, i LOVE the color of your 5.0 scott. that color would have been my first choice.

Your not alone. Just slap a paxton on it from teambeefcakeracing and be over 600whp.
On that note I might be selling mine along with nose intake, circle d convertor. As I'm looking to move to a vette. Got bored and time to change it up. Just Another 700whp DD 5.0 |

Congrats. I love that 5.0 engine. My first car when I turned 16 in 1989 was a new 1989 Ford Mustang GT 5.0 w/manual 5spd tran. It was a bad ass back then.

Yes, I am kidding sort of.....because it is a friendly competition. I would much rather see people in a American owned car company vehicle then and foreign. That doesn't mean I am going to stop from razzing somebody about buying other two.
