I had a guy in a 5.0 try to race my friends 496 camaro. I was in the car with him and he wasn't even trying and kept up with the 5.0. It was hilarious then the 5.0 turned off really fast after he realized my friends camaro was only going 55(speed limit). When you have a car as loud as his is, you dont fool around racing in the city

I had a modded evo try to race me the other day in a residential zone
not that I'd be dumb enough to race him on the track either. kept making those loud turbo noises at me so i set the cruise to 20

If it's a TDI, not sure I would mess with it in a stock V6. Simple tuning and turbo upgrades can push those little diesels to 400 ft/lbs of torque easily. Not to mention the 500lb weight advantage they have, might even let them run with a stock SS if they have a few mods.

I get a lot of "passes" when I drive my Camaro vs. my Audi. For some reason, people wanna pass you more on city streets. A few passengers whine that I let people pass. Lol. On city streets I usually shift around 2500 rpm and keep peddle throttle 15-20% but with my mods people think I'm racing..
I keep all racing to the track. I just finished ordering lots of goodies (street slayer clutch, Texas Speed cylinder heads/cam package, etc) for one hell of a N/A build. |
