Trade in value with aftermarket supercharger?
If I was to trade in my 2010 SS that I added a TVS supercharger and exhaust to a new Chevy dealer would they take the work into consideration? (15K worth) It has the stock wheels still, (new tires) same cam, drives and is really similar to a ZL1 (no offence to owners) in performance and drive-ability.
Anyone done this? I couldn't find anything in search.

Negative. I've traded several cars in and most dealerships either shy away from taking the car in the first place or will give you at most the typical retail trade in value for the vehicle. Unless you find a specialty dealership where they focus on selling modified cars, you're going to get a shitty deal.
Take the expensive parts off, at least. After you trade the vehicle in, post it on eBay or in the classified forums here for a reasonable price and I'm sure you'll get it sold.

That's kinda what I thought. I was hoping they would add at least half of what I put into it on top of trade in value.

Modding always lowers value to a dealership.

A dealer would give you more if they could turn around and sell it for more.
Personally I'de rather buy a stock '10 SS than a supercharged one. So would most others looking for a used Camaro. Most would figure your car was abused.

A dealer isn't gonna want your car, I don't think they can even legally sell it. It's not emissions compliant.

Best to de mod it. Most dealers will seriously devalue a modded car vs stock.

What the others have said. However, unless you are in a hurry I would try to sell the car yourself. You will get more money that way. I have sold several cars pretty quickly by listing them on enthusiast forums like this one and believe it or not Craigslist. One of the guys that works here sold his Jeep in 13 minutes on Craigslist.
