For all of you that want the coupon, these are the steps to get one.

Take in consideration the following:
1. This is a random offer
2. You have to do this process many, many times.
3. I used Internet Explorer 9.

What you need to do in order to get the offer:
1. Delete your browsing history (ctrl+shift+delete)
2. Go to chevrolet.com.
3. Click Cars.
4. Select Camaro.
5. Click 2012 Camaro Coupe [Learn more]
6. Click Build Your Own
7. Click your favorite flavor (I selected 2SS or 2LT).
8. Enter a ZipCode.
9. Click on View Matches.
10. If you dont see a popup start from step 3.

Every two loops you'll see one of two popups, Request a Quote or Private Offer. Once you see the "Request a Quote" popup close it, delete your browsing history (ctrl+shift+delete) and start over from step 3.

I did this like 10 times while watching tv.

Guys I forgot to mention...this is not a static voucher.

You need to enter your information into a form and then Chevy will send you the voucher with a unique code and a pin.

Not sure about the specifics on this or if it's right, but I think my dealer mentioned that on the car I ordered, as soon as they get the VIN I can come sign the paperwork. They should have access to the VIN shortly after it's built and before it's shipped. So if your close to being built maybe you can use the offer if it's before Feb? That is assuming your ok with signing the paperwork without having seen the car yet.

Worked exactly as you stated! It took about 7 tries and 10 minutes of my tv time to get the offer pop'up. I am going to give the dealer a call tomorrow to varify the offer. I will give up-dates!

Using the steps that Ultimate just posted, I just had one come up for me also. Took about 3 attempts. Just read some fine print though:

"Take retail delivery from dealer stock by 01/31/2012. See dealer for details. Vehicle must be purchased or leased by the person whose name appears on offer code print out, or can be transferred only to an individual residing in the same household (same address) as the eligible recipient noted on the offer code print out. Transferee must provide proof of address, including valid driver's license or state picture identification. Offer code is required. Offer is nonnegotiable and not redeemable for cash. Only one offer code may be used per eligible transaction and each offer code may be used only once. Not available with some other offers. Offer not available on Cruze, Volt, Sonic or Aveo. "

So it's take delivery by 1-31 which my car won't be here in time.

You can't transfer it, what you would have to do is wait until you or someone else here gets the popup, then they or you would have to leave that screen up, post or PM them your full name, address, zip, email, and the type of car. Then you submit that and it gives you a PDF file with your info and like a number that the dealer has to use. You could probably then save the PDF and email it to whoever.

So you would have to be comfortable giving someone some of your personal information, but it is $1,000 bucks so...

I was finally able to get one to pop up! I switched computers to an old desktop and it popped up on the third try.

The laptop I was initially trying with must have something in the security blocking the pop ups, even though I had - allow pop ups selected. When I switched computers to my old desktop and went to the Chevy site, then I was getting the "request a quote" pop up. Then on about the 3rd try, instead of a request a quote... the Private Offer popped up!

Thanks a lot for all the info and steps provided here! It worked great once I was on a computer that allowed the pop ups at the View Matches step (9).

So it's take delivery by 1-31 which my car won't be here in time.

I am in the same boat but my dealer told me as long as I get the VIN and sign the papers by 1/31 I can use the private offer.

So we just have to try to get it again, I guess. I decided not to use the other one I had because I already have the USAA and I didn't want to sign the paperwork not having seen the car first for only $250 more off. But I have about a week to try to get another one now.

Dealer did all the purchase paperwork yesterday... didn't work. They couldn't do the Private Offer because the carrier hadn't released the car until today.
Called Chevrolet Customer Assistance, and got a script read to me about how the deadline is the deadline.
