supercharged v-6 Z/28?

anyone heard about a supercharged v-6 Z/28? a buddy of mine told me lastnight he was gonna buy a Z/28 this year because they were reasonably priced and get 35 mpg. I laughed and asked him where he heard those numbers and he said some car show. he said he heard there would be a cheaper v-6 supercharged version around 350 h.p and 35mpg. I told him maybe for the 6th gen but I hadn't heard anything like that

I thought the z/28 with a v6 was the one being built in partnership with ford and they had planned on using the Eco boost v6?

That's the same one that's supposed to get the new 12 speed Turbo Hydromatic Power Glide.

Here's my post in another thread asking about a TTV6 Z/28.

"You heard that because some people thought GMs TTV6 was going to be a mythical beast that put out 800 hp and 50 MPG when in reality it turned out to be basically an LS3 but with two turbos instead of the other two cylinders."

Look at the ATS, CTS and Corvette if you want to get a good idea of the available power plant options for the 6th Gen.
