lightweight
Are the any rotors on the market that drop a decent amount of weight?
I really don't know how to drop rotating mass besides a aluminum drive shaft, pullies and rotors. |

Racing Brake rotors. They are 26 lbs lighter than OEM. Apex-Speed has the best price on them btw.

There aren't really any options for the v6 brakes. I have some R1 Concept rotors and after replacing all 4 I only saved a little over 3lbs. If money isn't an issue then I would upgrade to the brembos and then buy the Racing Brake rotors that were mentioned.

Isnt the equation supposed to be,roughly, 1 lb of rotational weight is worth 10 lbs of regular weight and shaving 100 lbs of.regular weight is worth .1 in your 1/4? Talking about shaving off a 1/4 second. Not a cheap way to get faster but hey it works

I am sure it is probably posted on here somewhere, but is there a list of rim weights?

Is there a calculation for how much 1lb of rotating mass shaves?
Or does it depend on speed, diameter rotating and other stuff |

I said .1 in your quarter time per 10 lbs of rotational weight. 26 ,lbs would be .26 which os just over a 1/4 second off your 1/4 mile time

had the racing brake rotors on my 2010 SS and they are nice. In fact I have them for sale now, see my sig. They will get you the most weight reduction of any rotors I have seen and they run cooler than others as well.
