Well the time is almost upon me.........well not quite yet anyway. Purchased my 2SS from a dealer in Phoenix because we are getting the rod on dealer markups in Hawaii but thats another talk show.....so........my car is in the Phoenix area just not at the dealer yet, looking at another 48hrs or so my salesman tells me. After that it gets shipped to LA then shipped to Oahu...................then shipped to Maui. All in All im still looking at the end of Oct before my but gets to stink up that seat hahahahhaha.

Ordered at the end of July and arriving at dealer mid Sept, that pretty good time if you ask me. Reason i ordered so late was because i just had to review, see and touch the car in person first, almost pulled the trigger on a G8 GXP, glad i didnt because i really really fell in love with the 5th gen once i seen it in person.

My wife is also a petrol head, she recentley sold her 97 Nissan 240sx (over a yr ago) and has been so supportive of me making this purchase so big ups to her!!

This is my first Muscle/Sports car, have always driven trucks (current Avalanche Z/71) and have been determined to own a Muscle car since i got a ride in my classmates 71 Chevelle SS back in 96 High School shop class.

I have a particular taste for what i want to do with my 2SS, its Classified Top Secret until i declass it to all of you with pics in the near future. Have some parts already sitting in the house and just may post pics of them later tonight.

Please check back with my journal in the next few months, i have some friends that do professional Photo and Video work that have came up with some ideas we'll be shooting in Hawaii.

Well car wasnt ready for Ryan to test drive, guess they need to PDI it or something so we shall be ready to go Saturday morning. In the mean while here are some pics of parts i've been receiving the past few weeks.

Car is being trucked to Long Beach CA as i type this, luckily it will make the Matson Ship that leaves this Saturday for Hawaii...........3 more weeks.

Well..........ITS HERE!!!!!!!!! Barge got in Sunday and was available to pick up 7am this morning. Been driving around and showing off to friends and coworkers.

I have to say, this thing has some punch! More torque and get up speed than i thought, handles very well, brakes are powerful and yes the blind spots are a little tuff but i dont care.

Post pictures later tonight or tomorrow. Tonight i'll be installing the Billet door sill plates.

1. Wednesday getting a wash and wax

2. Wednesday brake and reverse lights are getting tinted.

Today Eibach sport springs are going on. After driving the car from sea level to 10,000ft in 65min i really do believe i need this done along with Pdaft sway bars when i get the spare change.

I swear i really will get pics up!!
