Let's see your snow and ice pictures. I can't believe I missed all the excitement in the south.

BTW, Carlos I love the signature picture. I can't believe that is a screen shot from a video.

I also watched a turkey vulture fall from a tree and smack the ground (probably 40 or 50 ft tall tree) with a sickening sound. It was still alive but very much frozen and is probably dead now. :-/

I haven't checked tbh. On base here the parking lot is a good 1/4 mile from my room and as you know it's quite cold so I'm not exactly in a hurry to go check, lol. I will before it gets dark though, maybe take more pics bc they do look pretty damn cool.

Did the shut down the base? I know in VA they closed a lot of bases because of the snow. They said not to come on base unless you had to and to stay home.

Yeah, it's shut down to all non-essential personnel. I just checked on the car and it's so funny looking now because the driver's side is all thawed out but the passenger's side still has a good 1/2" of ice coated on it. I took more pics, give me a minute to upload em.

Well at least now you will be able to get in and start the car. I once had to get to work so I put warm water on the door just so I could get in the car. I was hoping the door didn't refreeze on my way to work.
