Wheels/Tires next year...
Which cam and heads are you looking at? Maybe the GM tune will be ready by the time you are. I'm definitely looking at the GM head and cam package.

IDK if the warranty would stay intact I would highly consider it.

As it stands now I'm looking at either TFS heads or some Lingenfelter ported heads. I want to bump up the compression a little. The cam is still up in the air though. I'm leaning towards Brian Tooley as a one stop shop. If not, all the normal players are in play.

I'm looking for two main things though, TQ and durability. I want something easy on the valve train. I want to get as much as possible but I want it to last like a factory set up.

I'm primarily a Road Course guy so a Night Fury Cam for example s not for me.

So just an update. I didn't die or crash the Camaro, and I sure didn't sell her. I've just been taking some fire officers classes to hopefully advance my career with the FD.

On another front I'm in process of getting a super low mile G8 GT for the wife.

TOTAL COST?

Great look! What was the total cost for the break upgrade from 2SS/RS TO CTS-V?

So I went back and looked. It was less than $2500 the $1500 number was in my head because I got a little less than $1000 for my stock brakes. Then I recently sold my stock rotors for $150. So my out of pocket is less than $1500 but face value was about $2500.

So I've been slacking lately. Life has been busy and now that I got a G8 GT for the wife some of my attention has been steered that way. I'm planning on "half assing" and getting some springs to lower the car. IDK how I can justify the $2K+ for coilovers but I need an altitude drop on this car. I'm looking at a set of Hotchkiss springs from JDP but now I understand that Justice Pete is making a comeback with his own company. Springs will be one of his early products and I feel like I have to at least see what he's going to offer.

In the meantime I made a huge order to Adams polishes and also procured a Flex polisher. I need to throw down on the Camaro and the G8 and take some pics. I'll wait another couple of weeks for the weather to cool down and then it's game on.

How does your car sound? Any video of it idling?
I have a 14 1LE with NPP and I've added the on/off/stock switch to control the sound. I'm thinking about a getting tri-y LTs but need to know if it gets too loud. Unlike most people I don't wan it to get too loud.
