Ipad Mini Retrofit

A Ipad mini with a 7.9" screen wouldn't look to bad. I am sure someone will do this as someone has already installed the regular Ipad.

Here is a link to an Ipad installed already.

Thoughts?

Just curious what "parrots" upcoming products are? Are they a radio retro fit? Just curious cause I have a '12 1SS and am not a fan of the radio.

The one in the link would def. be a pain to change the AC and such, but with a screen from 9.7 to 7.9 someone may be able to put the ipad mini above the controls...I am sure someone will try it.

Or if someone could develop an ipad app that controlled the radio, A/C, doors, heated seats.. now that would be awesome!

Fail..see no advantage of my ipad mini in my dash...My Scosche and Head unit can do it all better and if I need to check a text or email the phone is right next to it. The NAV on the ipad is horrible compared to Garmin. My $0.02

Mine works great and removable as well. Wonderful thing Bluetooth works through system and don't have to worry about a kit or ripping up dash. Cost of my mod one iPad cover. It stays in place with no trouble
