Well, no one would turn them. Apparently, when you autocross...ahem, CaMAROcross...as much as we have and drive just a bit harsher, they tend to wear out a bit quicker. Like 40k miles quicker.

So. No one would turn them. Prices....have you seen prices for new GM rotors??? So I look for aftermarket. Not too bad. Oh well. then I find OEM for $350 from one of our forum sponsors...MJM Autohaus. He put in the order for them. I left the car in the air.

Got them today. Put them on. FINALLY....and now? Thunderstorms. Oh well...I just can't win. Drove it down the street and back up to put it right back into the garage.
well if'n it makes you feel any better, Eve's been strapped to a trailer for 2 weeks straight now. even now that we've moved into the house up here, i ended up just spraying all the blizzard crap off at a car warsh & then backed the whole trailer/car combo into the garage & that's where it's just gonna have to sit for a little while :(

i just unbolted the fender to get the door open & unload our crap from it. one of these days, i might get around to taking the car off.

:(

A week w/out the SS was actually very weird. I drive the car nearly every day.....might sit on a day off since we are all together and usually take the SUV. But, that was ... different. I enjoyed doing the brakes...taking everything apart. But I just HATE having to wait on parts!

Hey...at least Eve is safe from the blizzard crap and is nicely tucked away. No more miles going on it right now, lol

I know how you feel. The waiting is what gets you.

haha, yeah. it seems like all my miles are road trips or club cruises. i've managed to take it from 37k to 51k in 2.5 yrs and that was almost all from trips: FL-TN-FL x2, FL-VA-FL, FL-TN-NC-SC-FL, FL-GA-FL, abilene-dallas-abilene, abilene-houston-abilene

then it'll sit for a couple weeks without moving it's still fun, though

I've got to clean up the edges a little bit, add some paint, maybe do a little final touches to the surround covering them with some sort of weather stripping or something.

Whoa!!! Nice mod.

I don't have big auto-X desires but that is freaking perfect for tilting them on the go.

Can you literally tilt them with just the top?

Yessir! I need to lift the front end of the car up in the air to be able to change the camber. But it only takes a few minutes to do that. I can get a full 2 degrees of camber just buy tilting the top of the coilovers inward. It might not look gorgeous right now, but ill clean up the cuts shortly.

Yeah....it looks off...but, it's straight. I taped it off and made 90 degree angles. I want to cap the sides off and make it look a bit better.

Hey bro...noticed you changed your sig to the new fest logo. Here are a couple of updated ones of your original if you need them. If you want to add or change anything let me know. Or if you want to use the one you have that's fine too.
