There is a lot more to it than just fitting. Your best bet is to buy the SS and go from there, even if you rip the engine apart and build from there.

Like everyone said, you are better off selling your V6 and getting a used SS. Also I wouldnt let a dealer do this kind of work. I would have a performance shop that specializes in this sort of thing. The dealer is going to be way more money than a custom shop and is probably not going to do as good of a job. I think Jannetty is up there in your neck of the woods. I would give them a call.

Another biggie is that the V6 comes with and uses the Bosh ECM that no one can tune. You need the ECM that comes with the V8 that can be tuned. No way you would tune a big V8 on the Bosh ECM. Not even the tuners can do it. At least that was as of awhile back. Also, which tranny would you use. Certainly would not be the one in the V6 car. AND, what is the rear gear ratio and was it intended for A6 or M6? Check it out and good luck.

The Build will cost but it will be what i want instead of paying more for things I didnt want from start. I will change the Bosch ECM, no problem. Its so much cheaper for me to do it this way because I get everything I want (Trans,Engine,Axles Etc..)for the price way less then thee SS with only adding a supercharger price. I will post pics when Project starts to end.
