As long as your music is MP3 or WMA you just copy the files to the flash drive, stick it in the glove box and forget about it. That way you don't have to worry about the battery or screen or any of that stuff getting screwed up by the heat of the car during summer. The USB drive shouldn't have a problem with the temps.
Which is a great reason to switch to Zune or something else. So you can buy music and put it on a stick. We still buy CDs lol

Rip em' and put them in our iTunes. It's been a while but I think you still can. My daughters FAVORITE band is Green Day. How that happened I do not know. She's 12.

I had an ipod but switched to Zune. My zune reads all my AAC files which is good (none itunes bought).

Infact I was kinda upset buying the ipod because there was no good competition at the time (zune wasnt announced yet). Its all preferrence. I hate the ipod but might get an iphone... I'm not enjoying the motorola Qm9.

DRM is gone from what I know. I use my Flash-memory based Sansa e280. I'm just looking for a 32 or 64GB micro SD card so I have some 40-72GB of music/video that won't EVER skip. =)

I'm glad Zune is going flash based as well.

Forget the iPod part, the iPhone, PHONE and Calendar features are second to none.

Digital rights management (DRM) is a generic term that refers to access control technologies that can be used by hardware manufacturers, publishers, copyright holders and individuals to try to impose limitations on the usage of digital content and devices.

Man I wish I had a use for one of these things. If the price is right, I may just buy one for the helluvit. It looks sexy as hell. (yea, I just called an electronic device sexy and yea, I'm a nerd).

Totaly with you on the no real use for it right now but looks pretty cool. iPhone will do all of that except the radio. I like the way the screen landscapes really fast.

Well, the closer the Southwest meeting is to Alabama, the better the chances of you getting one of these.

I have no shame.

Zune HD

Hi
I tried doing a search but couldnt find anything about the new zune coming out soon. Is the Zune HD going to be able to index itself like the Ipods can? I tried searching google and had no idea what to type in exactly. Thanks in advance.
