2013 vs 2014 vs 2015
Sorry if this has been asked before but I could not find what wanted on th search. other than the cosmetics (halos, tail lights spoilers etc) is there any substantial changes from year to year to year that has improved handling even more than 2013? Demensions? Mechanicals? Thx

If I were looking right now I'd be looking for a 2014 or 2015. If you want to add Z/28 parts later the 2014-2015 models are more compatible with Z/28 parts (especially the aero parts). Plus there was no Recaro seat option like there is with 2014-2015. Recaro seats and better Z/28 part compatibility have had me strongly considering trading up for a new model. Just don't know if it would really be worth it in the end. If I'm being honest with myself I don't see myself getting that serious about high speed road courses so the aero stuff really isn't gong to come into play and make much difference for me. But I really want Recaro seats and to do it after the fact is going to cost close to $5000. That's a lot of $$ for seats when I could get a newer model with the refreshed updates plus get the seats I want and probably be better off in terms of money spent. But I also really like how my car looks now with the ZL1 cosmetic parts I've added. So I'm always torn between what to do and so I just stick with what I have.
Sorry to babble...to sum it up for you hear are the pro's and con's 2014+ Pros: 1. Can still buy new if desired 2. More compatible with Z/28 parts 3. Recaro Seat Option 4. Color DIC and Head Up Display with more vehicle information also being available in the DIC and I believe a 4th page was added to the HUD for 2014+. 5. Refreshed exterior styling (personal preference for each person) Cons: 1. 2014+ Refreshed tail lights (seem to be really the only part of the refresh that some people still don't like...they have grown on me and I'm not a hater of the new tail lights) They would not be a deal breaker for me. 2. 2014+ are not available in some of the colors that were available in 2013 (Victory Red, Inferno Orange, Rally Yellow) The new replacement colors are Red Rock Metallic, Red Hot (a little "brighter" and lighter red...less orange tint to it), & Bright Yellow (which is a lighter yellow). Hope this helps.

I as well waited for the 2014-15 models. Couldn't get past the cartoonish smiley face on the 10-13's.

Looks aside the 2014+ has better aero and I would think lower underhood temps, which is always a good thing. But if you don't track the Recaros are just eye candy. The standard seat is all day comfortable. I have only spent a short time in the Recaros, so I can't comment on long distance comfort, but it is a bit harder to get in and out of the car. If you plan on tracking more than the occasional track day then the 2014+ with Recaros would be the plan. The aero and vents help there too.

LOL It's all good. It took me a bit to get accustomed to the 14+. I like them all.

2013 looks better overall. The front of the 2014 and 2015 looks more aggressive, but the rear looks like a Honda Prelude. The hood grille and lower engine temps on the 14 - 15 are nice. 2013 will likely end up being the rarest of the Gen 5 1LE's if that matters to you.

I never liked the '10-13' tail light. Never could figure out what they were thinking when they designed them, to me they just didn't fit the car. I almost picked up a 45th a few years ago, I liked everything about it, but the back. I remember my wife and I having conversations about it "I really like this car, but the back..." The 1LE almost got me to pull the trigger, then '14 came and we were both like "Dude, they changed the back!!! time to buy one"
