Not only that, but he is saying there will be a Z28, an SS, and another option that includes the LS3... 3 V-8 options with neither the Z28 or SS getting the LS3? Sounds like you need to do a little more research.

Just a little more, but I don't think he's off in his pricing guestimates. 29,000 for a Z28, and a couple thousand difference for the SS package...I can see that. Of course LS3 in both

I don't think the price will be that high for the two. I think the bottom of the two (don't know if it'll be the Z28 or the SS) will be in the mid 25k and the SS a few grand more up to 30k. Also, yes...they better all have the LS3. If not...:slice:

I am going off research of today's prices for cars in this class(or that claim to be in this class). Like I said, just my guesstimation. Basically wishful thinking. Nothing for anyone to go to GM about ladies and gents.

I think your price estimates were fairly close to what i personally expect as well. I just don't think there are going to be 3 unique engine options. I can see the possibility for 2, but I am holding out hope for the LS3 to be the exclusive V8. |

I voted. I'll be willing to dump up to $32k and a little change, but that would have to be a full bells and whistles...and preferrably a vert.
For a standard power-package mildly equipped, I sure hope they don't touch $30k, or IMHO the fundamental idea of the Camaro is in jeopardy. |

Yes, I must concur. The gist of my info (which has a substantial amount of worth and evidence) has come from what I have read on this group website. Please keep me enlightened guys.

I am looking around the 35 thousand dollar price range. I could go a bit higher if I like what I see of course and deem it worth it. I don't think that passing 40k will cut it for me, unless the SS is in the 40k range and is some king as a 11 second prodigy car. People hoping for the SS to be at 30k and under are just going to be disappointed, I can't even imagine how Chevy could pull that off logically.

hi yall
who knows what the price range will be ! but hey , lets be optimistic and think about it. Chevrolet has always produced its pony cam in that range ..lets assume $20-45( and 45 was the top notch) , so i don think for any reason that top notch price will be exceeded with too much ... i dont think its gona be like 50 or $60,000 for a Z28 or somthin( or what ever catchy hi performance name its gonna carry on itsides) coz for way less than that price and alomost the same power and performance , you can go and buy a mustang cobra or a saleen |

If the Camaro is overpriced, I am afraid that it will see the same future as the 4th gen.
I will be buying one before I graduate college AND before I'm married, so I will already be kind of pushing it. PLEASE GM, be reasonable with your pricing!!
