+1 Muffler Delete

Well I broke down and chopped the mufflers off. The videos don't do any justice to how they sound and feel.

I'll try to get some videos with decent audio clips. There is cabin drone, but it's bearable for me. I can see how it may be annoying for some but I drive mine alot and can handle it.

I was just giving a thumbs up to those who have done this

Ya got rid of my mufflers and added glasspacks. No ricey sound granted it's a V6 so it still doesn't compare to the sound a tuned V8 will put out.

As far is it goes, it doesn't sound like a Civic with a coffee can taped to the back. Don't expect it to sound like a V8 suddenly but it sounds better all around. The stock mufflers are very restrictive to sound....VERY.

Maybe I'm crazy but the sound has mellowed out.

The buzz (drone) on the interstate has subsided something significant as of late. It sounds VERY good until you stomp on it and hit 2 gears lower than you should be in. Then it sounds super loud and super raspy, but more of a V6 raspy and not a 4-cylinder fart can raspy.

I may just keep this set-up. Either that or I'm buying MRT v2.

I've heard they kill some of the rasp.

It would be overkill if you ask me

Sounds like this MRT v2 is very popular with alot of the guys on here. I have magnaflow and sometimes i feel like a ricer with it. Might have to try out MRT since the guys on here seem to love it

I have being debating about a muffler delete and thought about straight pipes too!! Been to 2 muffler places here, and they don't seem to want to help out. WTF?!?! I called one 2 wks ago and nothing. I would like my 6 to have some sound to it, but money is tight and I can't get a MRT 2.0 like everyone else has. :(

I've had my mufflers off of my LS for over a year, and get comments from everyone. Including v8 guys at camaro5 meets. And, I've convinced a lot of people to do the same, and they are all very happy with the sound. But, I had 3inch pipe welded in its place. Kills nearly all the drone.
