Which Belt Brand do you use?

I am going to be changing my pulley on my SC to a 81mm From the stock size. First off.. Not sure which size belt I'm going to need (If there is any heartbeat owners out there) who wouldn't mind chiming in) but id like to figure out a brand first. Know this really isn't a big deal but who have you had luck with?

I use Bando. So far, so good. But I've only got around 500 miles on it...

I'm running an 81mm on my LS3 with Heartbeat, but the accessories are different on my Vette vs your Camaro. Sizes probably won't match. I use Gatorback belts. Gates green or blue are also good. Here's the Gatorback sizes available http://www.veyance.com/ProductsDetail.aspx?id=3128 You're better off ordering off the net. Very few parts stores stock them. The link is for their new name. Still available from Summit and Amazon under the Gatorback name. Part numbers are the same.

My Vette is a 2013 Grand Sport. What size belt and pulley are you using now?

Probably a 96mm. I believe that's what they come with. They're available in 3mm increments. So...96,93,90...Your belt should have a part number written on the outside of it. Easy to cross reference if you can find the brand and part number.

I've used gates, bando, gatorback, gates green. They all work just fine as long as installed correctly, pullies aligned, and proper length. I think a lot of people don't get the correct length or don't align pullies so that causes issues.

I've used the regular belts you get from an auto parts store and they don't work for long on a Heartbeat sporting an 81mm pulley. Once they've been on there a short while, belt slip shows up. That's using the smallest one you can get on there. Changing to a Gatorback belt cured that problem. They don't stretch as much and they grip better than the stockers. I tried to find a Gates green or blue, but none were available in the size I needed (96.7").

Im going to see if i can find one locally. I believe "blownchevy" at superchargers online had a 81mm pulley on his 1le so im going to see what size he used and if he supplies them.
