fs: 2012 ZL1 - 1500 miles

It's gone.

2012 ZL1 for sale - no mods (so you can do what you want to make it your own)
Less than 1500 miles!!
Manual
AGM
Tinted windows
Factory indoor cover
2 sets of floor mats
Exhaust relay (not installed)
Chin protectors (not installed)

Reason for selling - Z06 ordered and being built next week.

$46,750.00

I know that the price is over "book". But then, your are not going to find one sitting on a dealer's lot like this.

Located in northern IL.

Shoot me a pm.

Rare for sure, but your not far off. For reference, I know the used Red '13 ZL1 (Auto) that the dealer had on the grass at C-Fest w/500 mi was sold below their asking price of $49k.

Just watched my Z06 being built. Sadly, the ZL1 has to go to make garage space.

Z06 is at the dealer. This car is going somewhere...either to your garage or to the dealer's lot.

A lot of variables play into what a dealer puts on paper...MSRP, invoice pricing, other discounting, dealer "hold back". So that number plays around all of that. Then, and lastly, a person has to consider sales tax with trade in vs. no trade.

You really need to take a firm position with the dealer. Often times, they will spin you all around to confuse you. It's usually a good idea to make your deal on the new car first, then make a separate deal on the trade-in. Otherwise, everything gets jumbled up.

I'm sure you could find out what price they are giving you for the trade-in, otherwise how are you going to know if its worth selling on your own?

You are exactly right. I know the dealer game. I know where I am at with this transaction. That's why I am out on the "open" market. However, as I stated, I haven't seen cars like this sitting on a dealer's lot. Most move as private sales.

If it happens...it happens.

VIN ending in 1670 is safe and sound in Allen Park, Michigan! Just bought it 2 weeks ago from Rodgers Chevrolet. Thank you for keeping such good care of it, I wont disappoint!

Couldn't have said it better myself.

It looks good sitting in your driveway. I am glad to hear that it found a home with someone who appreciates the car. Really hated to see it go. I am sure Rodgers treated you good. I can't say enough positive things about my dealings with them.
