Looks like a good project car for a high school hobby shop! One of our club members has an '87 V8 IROCZ with only 6,000 miles. Hard to believe the difference in condition!

A car can look like dead within a few years if the owners don't keep up on the maintainence and repairs. Garages help a lot with paint preservation.

That was really dumb junking that car. The body was straight. Would have been a great project. Plus they tossed a lot of useful parts. Did it just go to a scrap yard? :(
