pretty much, yes... its actually pretty big... but nothing as large as an Impala or Malibu... and the inside is HUGE.

I liked the gauges, just not used to counting to 180! Look even better at nite lit up.
I've noticed quite a few comments about the small trunk opening, if you want to carry anything larger than that opening you might need to be looking at a truck Didn't you guys see tag in there? He's a long drink of water too.

A trip to Ikea every so often is definitely no justification to get a truck. Looking at the trunk you could fit a ton of stuff in there, but you have no way to actually get it in. This isn't a problem if you're loading it up with, say, 50 basketballs, but you'd be hard pressed to fit a table and chairs from Ikea in. The trunk can contain them, but you just can't get them there. It is the same story with my Cobalt. We had to move a desk chair one time. It could fit in the trunk, but we just couldn't get it past the itsy bitsy opening. It is so frustrating knowing you can carry something, but you can't get it in.

Or large travel suitcases for that matter. That's my main concern...I take big samsonite pieces of luggage with me to the airport often. Looks like they'll fit in the Camaro trunk opening but just barely.

Great collection of photos and info, this may possibly be the greatest thread in the history of forums.

You can always put it in from the front doors (angled) and then put the seats down. You could also rent a truck from U-Haul (pickups are rentable) for the day and it's like 30 bucks. Then you aren't skinning the hell out of your brand new interior. Besides, Ikea stuff comes in boxes. You'd be fine. 1/2 my old living room furniture was Ikea stuff and it got transported in a Mitsubishi Lancer.

I moved an entire twin bed (as well as many other things a truck is usually for) mattress and all in my 2002 Camaro.

The hatch design will always be superior to a trunk when it comes to usability.

True doctrine. I was kind of hoping that GM would do just that with the 5th gen, incorporate the rear window into the trunk, make a nice hatch, but I'm happy with the car how it is. At least it has the space. Not like the solstice/sky.

Scott told me at Indy that the exhaust note of the Silver SS is not the final exhaust note. They are still working on it. So what you hear in the third video is not final

I wonder if a trailer hitch can be put on for the people who need more storage. They can rent one of those small U-Haul trailers, then it's problem solved.

After seeing the presentation, I believe they had structural rigidity at the top of the list from the beginning. I won't be a bit surprised if no one takes the trouble to build chassis stiffeners for this car, because I'm guessing they won't be needed. By the way... It WILL be a 5 star crash rating.
