Stale Interior

What are you guys using to freshen up a stale smelling interior?

Looking for something subtle and not to overpowering. I am NOT doing vent clips or Christmas trees.

Go to wal-mart or any auto parts store and get some Ozium in the blue can(original scent) spray your headliner and carpets. Dont spray it until you can be out of the car because the initial smell is strong but within minutes it goes away and your car doesnt smell like anything. It doesnt mask odor it eats it.

There was a guy doing a sale on scentsy circles a month or two ago. Those have turned out to be exceptional. I have gotten 5 weeks with one of those in my car and that is in Florida summer.

I've tried a TON of over the counter, online only, specialty, and boutique scents that are supposed to last, and the scentsy circle is the best, hands down.

Most other scent products last 2 weeks or 3 weeks tops in the summer. The circle has lasted 5 weeks and is still going. I can see another week or two with it, which is EXCEPTIONAL performance in my opinion.

The first thing you need to do is a deep cleaning of your interior to remove the source of the stale smell. Otherwise you are just masking the problem.

What are you doing in your car to make it smell stale? Mine was built June 2009 and still smells new.

They now have I saw on the shelves in target Fabreeze auto for cars now. It comes in a spray bottle and you spray inside the car.

A nice subtle scent ...I like Black Ice (Christmas tree) a little more potent smell. But smells good

I don't know about that. I have some CG New Car Scent. Every time I use it, it lasts a good 20 minutes!

Seriously, it doesn't last. 20 minutes might actually be accurate.

Otherwise it's like putting more cologne on a sweaty guy.

Adams new Total Interior detailer does a good job nutralizing smells and cleans slightly dirty interiors, but if the interior is soiled, nothing beats cleaning it. I did mine this weekend and followed with Zanios leather conditioner. It smells brand new.

Also don't forget about your carpets. Vacum and clean those as well particularly if you've been in and out Of the car with wet feet.

Total Interior Detailer has a nice neutral clean smell, and has an active odor neutralizer that will combat musty odors.

Also changing our your filter and cleaning the interior thoroughly will help a ton.
