Well, that all depends on what you consider "every option"

If you get a Vert, you are looking possibly north of 40k.

Yeah....way north. Does anybody remember the 02's ....like $7000 difference between hardtop and vert? Only $6,000 if you got the $1,000 t-tops. My 02' list for almost $34,000 being a hardtop...it did have some SLP options though.

Far more than that.

What I want-

SS2 with-
RS Package
Auto Transmision
Sunroof
GFX
Accessory Grille

Before the GFX and Grille that comes to over $37,500.

Add in 21" Wheels, performance parts, interior options, gas cap, etc. and the Camaro could, potentially, creep up on $50,000.

Red Jewel Tint Metallic w/ Cyber Grey Stipes, w/ Convienience and Connectivity on both, along with, well... most everything else on the list. If you want to check my math, please do, because I'm probably wrong.

2SS/RS w/ manual trans = $39,035
2SS/RS w/ 6-speed auto trans = $40,030

(calculators rule , but I'm off, I pretty sure of it, I'm just tryin to help out)

That's not counting GMPP accessories. Still cheaper than a Challenger SRT-8, and GT500, BY A LOT!!

Thats the key point... for me at least.

Every time I think about a fully loaded RS/SS convertible I have a sinking feeling (it passes quick though). But, at the age of 37, this will most likely be the last car I buy for a long time. Add in the fact I was never able to go back to 1969 and order the convertible I wanted, and I feel great about my decision to get this one EXACTLY the way I want it.

Hopefully I will be able to get a decent amount for the Evo (less than 11k miles on it now), that should make me feel better about what I am paying.

But in the end, like many of you who were able to order today, when I am able to pick up my car and drive it home I will have feelings that I won't have felt since my daughter was born. That in it self is well worth the money to me.
