The problem is that I need the German TUV to get Euro3 omologation & documentation... the only way to not to pay VAT in Italy is to import a "used" car, which means 6000 km AND al least 6 month of life of the car..

Italian laws don't allow to transform an American car into Italian... I need to change lights and arrow, seat belt, air bags etc... no way... =(

I found an experienced person who is giving me an hand...

In the canton of St. Gallen (where I used to live) the annual taxes will be around CHF 750.- (charged on weight). Compared to Graubünden (where I work) it is quite reasonable, they charge on ccm/PS and are about CHF 1600.-!

Cool to find someone from Graubünden here. I use to live there also, I moved to Florida 1 1/2 Year ago, but I will be back to Switzerland soon. I just registered to the forum here cuz I just love the 2010 Camaro. And it will be the next car I buy.
