In stock IPF form I did, 330 RWHP and running a 14.1 @ 101-3. After changing gas stations I dropped to a 13.3 @ 107, pulley down I'm at a 13.1 @ 110. Sunday is test to see how much spacers slow down these engines.
Stock V6 runs 15 @ 92-94 here, track is 1100 feet above sea level, 91 octane max, headwinds and some say the track has a slight grade uphill. |

Best today was a 13.122 @ 109.71. My 60' was 2.011, but my 1/8th mile MPH was down 1 mph, so I lost some power in 2nd gear. Final verdict, spacers make no difference on boosted cars.
Beat a few V8's today, my wife actually beat a SS 1LE today and a 5.0 in her bolt-on Mustang V6. Imagine what she is going to do with a Procharger on her car. |

I know the Stage 4 Ported IM increased gains below 4000 like crazy, it screwed up my LTFT's so badly that I had to get a new tune just so it would run a +25% LTFT. |

Timeslip from my wife racing the SS 1LE. He was doing bracket racing with a full tree and his dial time was 13.2. This race was in the Heat 2 Head group with a pro-tree, so our RT's were terrible since it was 0.4 seconds from yellow to green. When her win light came on I heard a lot of "whoa" from the crowd, couldn't believe a V6 beat a V8.
That was round 1, I had to race my wife in round 2 and I beat her badly. 3rd and final round I raced a cammed V8 Camaro SS, something that I can't beat yet. He won by 0.0286 seconds, he said when he shifted into 3rd he didn't even use the clutch, he did not want to lose to my V6. That timeslip is the 2nd one on this post. Was a great day yesterday doing the head to head racing, thankfully the group we were with had awesome people that didn't give us crap for running V6's. The minimum time was 13.99, so had that covered. The V8 Camaro my wife beat laughed about losing to a girl in a V6. I know if it was some other Camaro V8 owners losing to a Mustang V6 it would have been different. |

I'm thinking about taking my car to Thunder Valley this Friday for test and tune. Just to see what I can do stock before I go FI. Will you guys be there this weekend? It would be cool to see your car in person.

Supposed to be raining Friday, and I'm helping a V6 owner install a ice-olator.
I am going to try on the 19th, we have our Most Wanted List race going on, be nice to get my V6 on the list. |

Shoot they ARE saying rain on Friday.. too bad too because there's going to be some cool air that night! This is Oklahoma though, so everything could change tomorrow lol. My girlfriend and I are both taking off Friday to go to the fair during the day so it probably WILL rain all day.
What's the Most Wanted list? Excuse my ignorance. I haven't been to Thunder Valley since I had my Monte Carlo prob 8yrs ago. |

I don't know if you are part of the Oklahoma Camaro club, but the BS that goes on in that club is what created the other club. |

That's cool, sounds like fun. I miss going to the track. I've had my Camaro for two years now and I'm gonna do something special with it, as of now I'm planning on buying the IPS tt kit. I figure I'm a mechanic and I live close to a drag strip so why not take advantage and build up my new Camaro!
I'm not a part of any club but thought it would be fun with the Camaro. What kind of BS goes on in the Camaro club? |
