Yes, but without a "repair procedure", nothing can be done on June 23rd either.

This solution is actually worse then giving my a new FOB. I'm not going to walk around with a broken looking FOB. Wasn't going to original do it but now there is not a snowball chance in hell!

I mean come on GM, do you really expect owners to carry around a FOB that looks broken? If you are going to do this, at least do it right!

Becky could you clarify if this is going to be a mandatory recall or voluntary?

I don't think she would post misinformation. It gives directions who to get our keys replaced under the recall. Also if it wasn't a real recall why would they stop sales?

I bet they will put a filler piece in place of the missing switchblade. If they don't I will make my own.

Ya think? Are they actually going to take the time to FAB something up to fit in there? I don't know about that.

What happens if you refuse the upgrade/fix and your dealer or GM contacts your insurance company and they drop your coverage if you don't comply?

I'm not saying Becky posted misinformation. But normally on recall, there is a service bulletin explaining the repair.

ie - Without a procedure and billable hours, no cars are going to get fixed.

My car is in transit. I'm going on vacation in 3 weeks. I'm trying to figure out when I can actually expect to take delivery.
