HP/$ may suck for boltons, but trust me, it pays back in dividends the second you throw a cam in the car, clean up the heads, and tighten up the valvetrain.

Here's a link from one of the best "LS2/3" tuners over on the Corvette Forum.

So if you are getting all GMPP parts like the CAI, shorty headers, and exhaust they would not tune it for you as well or do you need to go to another shop for that?
I hope to order all of it at the same time and have it installed before I even pick up the car. I'd prefer to just replace the original parts and have a cost savings but I expect to just sell the stock parts as they will essentially be brand new. |

It is unfortunate GMPP doesn't offer some sort of "performance tune" that would keep the car under warranty. To me, the only point of getting GMPP parts is to maintain the warranty, while adding performance to my vehicle. If I cannot do that effectively, I might as well void my warranty and go all aftermarket parts to maximize my ROI.

Well hopefully they will add a tune or stage kit as an option. I'd like to get one for 93 octane if possible.

GM tunes are mild. You'll want to go aftermarket—Hypertech, HPTuners, other brands—for a respectable tune.
