I went by my local dealership yesterday afternoon with our new Caprice PPV. While there I got a quote for $261.00. Now just waiting for a confirmation on as carrier compatibility

Yes. I ordered a similar kit from Yukon gear. I like the lingenfelter kit better. The Yukon kit doesn't include a pInion bearing. You will also need a diff cover gasket.

On a manual V6 yes, it has the same type of limited slip diff as the SS. But the auto V6's have a smaller open diff and i don't believe they will work.

That's correct. The manual trans V6 uses the same differential and 218 mm ring and pinion size gear as the SS man/auto. The V6 auto trans uses a smaller differential and a 195 mm R/P gear.

If it came with a 218 mm gear (ring gear diameter/8.6"), any 218 mm gear ratio will fit. SS's and V6 manual trans.

V6 Auto has the 195 mm gear diff.

ZL1's have a 250 mm gear, 9.8 inches ... very impressive (that's what she said ) Bigger ring gear than a Ford 9".

Still waiting for 1LE sway bar part numbers... With the 1LE available to order as of yesterday, I imagine we would be able to get the numbers for the rest of the missing puzzle pieces pretty quick, eh?

I was out at Woodward yesterday and they had a 1LE in the Chevy Performance tent. Being a knucklehead, I tried to climb under it, somewhat, to check out those rear axles. They definitely have a "neck down" going into the differential, but I couldn't see on the wheel side. I was going to take pictures, but my phone died. My SS is back in Phoenix, so I can't compare until I get home.

You should send a PM to MaureenM@RodgersChevrolet and then you might want to cancel your order.

Most likely a dumb question, but if I am just running bolt on stuff, and maybe one day a small cam, can I just do the gears or do need to do the 1le diff?
