You need to add all the other Forced Induction options. I would prefer a roots type as they produce a more level amount of power through the entire rpm range.

I fully understand. I too am having a hard time deciding which forced induction I will use... The only thing I have decided was roots as it will work best for my dailey uses.. As for you I dont know. What do you intend to do with the car? Be more specific to help eliminate options ya know?

just a weekend driver. maybe go to some race tracks. not drag race. im thinking more on the lines of the tt system because i think i want more top end power and the aps kit is very stealthy and cant really even tell its there. the turbos are by the transmission on the g8 kit. which i think would be the same as the camaro kit.

Well Guys, I am the owner of the pro charger system on a 2010 camaro. I have done the research and the best bang for your buck is with the pro charger system. It is very smooth, from idle to red line. Driveability is right there. It is very remarkable. I am not making this statement because I am a pro charger owner but because I am a satisfied customer. It is a very quiet, responsive system. Even my wife who couldn't careless about the car has yet to hear me come home. In all guys it comes down to preference, but look at statistics. Pro charger has done what they have done and been very successful with it. They are a top notch company and they are unbeatable. They hold almost all of the pattons in the industry. They also have unbelievable customer service. This company does what they say they are going to do.

Excellent!! I have been wanting to hear from someone with a centrifugal supercharger. Did your fuel mileage change or stay about the same? Have you had it at the track or a dyno yet? I am very curious of how much it upped your times. Thanks for sharing that’s the one thing I love about this forum everyone shares the good an bad no matter what.

did you opt for the straight cut gears(quite) blower? I want my blower to be as load as possible! Love the whine of a Procharger blower.

Considering how many turbos in the APS kits have crapped out I'd say stay away from them. It's a great kit otherwise and you could always upgrade to LG turbos but that's another 2800 bucks or so.

APS uses Garrett.

I can tell you after having a 1300+hp TT C6Z06, stay away from the APS turbo Kits if you want huge power out of it.

The kit for my Z cost $14000, then I spent $2,000 fixing the fuel system, replaced the blow off valves, had silicone collapsing, plus the thing took 100 hours to install. Add all that together, and I had 20k in this kit on my car and would have been going just as fast with a Vortech/Procharger. Plus I had a turbo fail. Don't get me wrong it's WAY cooler saying you have Twin Turbos, and wow did that car pull.. Just know I would have went faster in the 1/4 with a blower over my APS kit.

Turbo's do fantastic for MPH and 1 mile events. Really can't be beat, but I think for Drag Racing Supercharger all the say, or big single turbo as there is simply less to go wrong.

Just my .02 cents.

well some one is bound to have a bad experience with both options i have up there. i had a supercharger on my trans am and i loved it. but it wasnt enough power. im not planning on pushing 1000hp. im wanting to get 600 to the wheels. the vortech, procharger and even magnusson cant get that kind of power with just the blower. i have a company near me (backstreet performance) who is going to be doing the install of whatever i choose. im leaning toward the twins. not only because they are cool to say that you have them, but it fits my need for the car more than the supercharger. when im done, this is gonna be one bad ass car! ill post pics through outthe build whenever it gets underway. im planning on doing one or the other this fall and have it ready for spring next year.

After installing many APS and other various turbo kits, I decided to take all of my history and knowledge and create an affordable, easy to install single turbo kit. I would go with a properly sized, single turbo.
