New member long time stalker

Hey all I finally pulled the trigger and created an account. I have been stalking the forums for about a year now. I was the proud owner of a 14 2SS/RS but recently found a deal on a Z that I couldn’t refuse.

The new car is great; I can’t believe how much more power the Z makes over the SS, its unreal. I love the car however the dealer did a great job installing a lot of swirls in the paint, I am considering taking it to a detailer to get the swirls buffed out, if anyone in the CO area knows of a good location please let me know.

I think I have the pictures attached, not completely sure how to add them properly. And sorry for the poor quality, the S5 cannot capture the real beauty of this car.

congrats!!! welcome!! When I brougt my AGM home last month I used the Adams paint correction 2 part system, and topped it off with a coat of Pinnacle Soverean wax. I never used a da polisher before, Got it from harbor freight for $39 with a coupon. Results were stunning. Point is for a minimal investment, you can do it yourself and own all the materials.

Thanks everyone,

I am south of Denver.

I plan on getting up to speed on using a DA, however I would like to start with a new surface. This was not an issue on the SIM SS.

Great products, great videos. Check em out!

Doing the work yourself makes you appreciate the work/car so much more. Plus you'll save some dough for mods!
