no i did not drill into anything i ran the el wire around the cup holder cover plate and into the arm rest (if thats what you call it) by the center console.the only way you can see the el wire is if you lift the top cover on the arm rest but then again its only a couple of centimeters that you will be able to see, i just cant start drilling hole on it, not into all that so i try to find ways to get around drilling if i can.

yeah i seen someone post a picture of it and the cup holder was clean and it didnt have excess light shining through so thats what gave me the idea of doing it like this to see if we can have something like that on a camaro and i think it came out pretty well in my opinion. Going to see if i can do it again but this time a much cleaner version.

i did use quick connects wire but not from this web site and i also soldered my own connections. the one on this web site look like the will solder the quick connect to the el wire for you which i would recommend getting because its a pain cutting the el wire just right. If you buy the el wire from this web site also buy the inverter if you don't have a inverter than your el wire will never work.

What do you do with the inverter once it's plugged in to the el wire? Do you just wire that into a power source? |

That's correct wire the inverter to any 12 volt power supply.
