I have the v6 automatic and I went over 420 miles on a recent trip from Ohio to Virgina without stopping for gas. I think the 29 mpg estimate for highway is good and I wasn't babying it. All on regular gas.

I'm averaging around 17-18 mpg and the range is about 300 miles or so.

Simple math.

This means that you still have 4 gallons in your tank when you fill up.

I've driven with the DIC down to 6 and it still only took 17.8 gal so even that isn't foolproof. Of course that meant I was within 20 miles of actually running out of gas...

Gas Mileage V6 Sucks

It's hard to tell, but I do a combo of highway and city driving and I'm not a heavy foot most times. I am lucky to see about 15 MPG. I get maybe and I mean maybe 250-275 a tank. I have 1500 on the car and have not changed the oil yet.

2SS/M6, I average 16.1 according to the DIC with mostly in town driving. 15 gallons is the most I have put in so far at a fill up although, I have not run the car all the way down to the fuel light yet.

Honestly too much work to calculate the hard way...So, not paying attention, having WAY TOO MUCH FUN driving this car, (but swear the dash display says my average fuel economy is 15.5 mpg) on premium. 550 miles on car, 6 sp auto.

Red light to red light all the way to work and back every day, but I leave really early so I can miss the morning traffic because I just don't have the patience to creep to work in it.

But we all know I didn't choose this car because it has the largest trunk and can haul lots of stuff or because it gets the greatest gas mileage either
