Originally I started with wanting the Jet Stream Blue (ZR1), but my painter showed me a motorcycle tank he had done in this color and I decided thats what I wanted. We put a very light tint over it to give the proper candy look before clear coating. The Chevrolet And Brembo logos are decals, not paint just in case anyone was wondering.

All Brembo GM calipers are painted. The yellow actually have 3 coats. The reason they turn gold or brown with heat is the clear coat used in Europe changes color with heat. Apparently EU has more stringent environmentally laws that govern the paint and clear used. That may be why it appears to react different to the bead blasting, but it is paint.

I had the same reaction when I opened the Brembo box and had my hand covered with brake dust.

In talking to a source at GM I was told that the stock pads for the 6 Pistons are good to about 1292 F without fade and they will still work beyond that with fade.

I shelved the $45 pads as a spare/emergency set only at this point.

Depending on the brand the lines should come with new banjo bolts and crush washers. (The Goodridge do)

I ran the Goodridge ZL1/SS lines with mine and there were no issues outback. They came with the Banjo's too.

If it hasn't been mentioned when you get CTS-V calipers the crossover tubes need to be swapped for use on a Camaro.

I am using 20x9 rear wheels on all four corners which sit closer to the caliper than the 20x8 so I am trying to find out if there is a difference and what that difference is.
