I'm happy with my 09, I don't like those new taillights.

As an owner of many Chrysler and currently 2 Jeeps in the household they have actually been some of the most reliable vehicles I have had. Previous Cherokee had 200k miles when sold, still had a ice cold AC, everything worked, just needed a flywheel and now is driven to the mines by my cousins husband everyday.

01 Grand Cherokee, currently around 140k miles, only issue was with the Climate control and the pre 03 brake system, both fixed and runs like a champ.

07 Patriot: only had to replace a speaker, 50k miles in 2 years and averaging 26 MPG (4wd).

97 Chrysler LHS had from 20k miles to 87k miles, ZERO issues

99 Dakopta R/T, ok, so everything has been rebuilt the engine has become a 426 stroker and the transmission is built to handle it, had around 100k miles before that though no real issues.

96 Intrepid, ex rental car, was a POS, but I blame that more on being an ex rental LOL.

My GM cars have been hit and miss (B-Bodies are freaking tanks LOVE EM!, W-bodies not so much...)

Wrangler's hold their value..some of your used are almost as much as the new...........if I was to sell mine I could get at least $20,000 with it's 13,500 miles and it's an 2006.And I paid 24,500 for it 4 years ago...go figure.

It's unfortunate, but I'm willing to bet less than 10% of Grand Cherokee owners will ever do off road driving like in that video. With that said, I think the new Grand Cherokee will be a success.

Funny to find to thread in a camaro forum ,but that is my next SUV. I trading in my old grand for this 2011. It's light years ahead of anything else in it's class and many above it's glass. IF chrysler keeps doing this kind of work they should turn things around.

I've had more reliability with my 2001 grand cherokee than just about any vehicle I've ever purchase. My camaro has been to the dealer five times for various things since I purchased it last year. My jeep hasn't been to the dealer for repairs (other than for normal service) five times since it was new in 2001.

Don't believe everything you read.

I like it. I wouldn't worry too much about the air shock tech in the cold- it's been around a while on other vehicles. This would be high on my list if I was looking for an SUV.
