Who is going to be in the Corral this coming Friday? I will be there pulling for our Chevy guys on the track!!

I'll be there, but I'm not coming on Friday. I will be there Saturday and Sunday for the Nationwide and Sprint Cup races...

I know me and 2010Pace are going to hook up. What side of town you on CamaroX?

We are southwest side.

I'm on the northeast side but I may be going to meeting on the west side before I head to the track. I would probably just meet up near IMS. I won't know about the meeting until Thursday.

I will be their Saturday and Sunday also.

Hey Robert, I am guessing we would be arriving at the track by 9:30... We could maybe meet up at one of the plazas in Speedway there off Crawfordsville Rd?

That would work for me, I wanted to get there early.

We can shoot for meeting by 9:30 in front of the Marsh (by the McDonalds) on Crawfordsville Rd. I should be able to get out of Danville by 8:45 to head that way.

It is "no vacations" time at work, including Friday. So, I had to pass on the Camaro Corral for Friday and also my dealer's invitation for the Chevy event Friday. But, I am going Saturday for the Camaro Corral and Sunday for the race.

The Camaro Corral is Friday, mainly supporting the Camaros for the Grand Am race.

I was not aware of a Camaro Corral on Sat? Is this being also sponsored by your dealer/chevy??

They are having the corral all three days. Saturday and Sunday are not Chevy sponsored. When I ordered my my tickets I messed up and purchased extra corral tickets for Sat & Sun. I will sell for 1\2 price, $10 each if interested. I can bring them with me on Friday.

correct, there are "car corrals" on Sat. and Sun, but not just for Chevy, for All cars. I'm sure that Minivan and old Ford Escort will be okay parked beside you jvc..

IMS also had a car corral for car clubs last year. It was not very well organized nor well attended. I think things have improved greatly for this year, but it has still been a little confusing.

There are car corrals Thursday - Sunday and laps on Monday. They are calling them car club corrals in order to try to get more cars involved; I don't believe one has to be a member of a car club to buy the admission.

There was even a promotion of a "Camaro Car Corral" in order to target Camaros especially, but the prices of admission are the same as for everyone. There are some Camaros coming from out of town/out of state for the weekend.

I think Camaro people are most interested in Friday since there will be Camaros racing on the track that day. The other thing about Friday is that the Chevy dealers are inviting customers for an appreciation day, including lunch, etc. So, the ones who paid to be in the corral and the ones who are getting in for free will both be on the grounds.

According to the website, "Car Corral participants will park in groups separated by car manufacturer or marque." So, in reality, there is a Camaro Corral every day, but there could also a Yugo Corral every day (if enough still exist) and a Porsche Corral (if that club shows up), etc.
