Angry Can't get any help

I am so fed up with my local dealer and Chevy. I have already had my car in the shop 3 times since April for XM reception issues and a strange red onstar light. The last time the car was in the shop I got it back and the problems are worse. Now the XM will change to the preview station, the blower motor indicator will not change when I increase or decrease, the heated seats will turn off on their own, and the onstar light comes and goes. I had a meeting with the service manager at the dealer since the service writer ignores the problems I have. He said he was going to have a field engineer come out, well it's been 8 business days and still no word on when that will happen. I have a file open with Chevy Customer Service, but that's a joke. They just call everyday to tell me they have no information. Is there no one with GM that cares about the issues I'm having? I will never buy another GM product! This is my 2nd Camaro since October with these issues. I have tried to be patient but I'm paying for a car that doesn't operate in the manner it's supposed to. When I asked the CSR how to contact someone that can help and/or give me information he said he was the only one. (Great) I asked him why it was taking so long to get an engineer and he had no answer for that either, except when I asked if the problem was that Chevy was putting out too many cars with issues. He must have been flustered because he said "yes". I just want a car that works right and doesn't have to spend as much time at the dealer as it does in my garage. I guess that's too much to ask GM for.

my onstar does the same thing.. been told it is nothing but reception warning. refuse to take my car in for that.

Dont even want the dealer near my car unless it's something major.
happens to mine all the time.

XM just sucks flat out all the way around as soon as the free crap is over it's turned off forever nothing but reception issues on XM in both my cars. fades in and out even on perfect clear days in the open. no trees no nothing.. that's just satellite radio and the reason I cancelled them long before even when I drove my Infiniti.
and mine has the fan speed indicator glitch off and on as well.
thats firmware in the 13s head unit which is among the worst Ive ever had.
I feel ripped off every time I use my stereo at all Boston Acoustics premium my butt. I've had better sounding boom boxes and the IPOD interface and Bluetooth is horrible.

USB connection half the time is not recognized and 90% of the time the car does not pick up the bluetooth media without turning off bluetooth and restarting it.
this is not an issue with any other bluetooth device or car just the 13 Camaro.

All in all the 13 version of Onstar and the MyLink is a total and complete fail.

Odd you would have the same issues with 2 different cars. The onstar is normal, and the XM will do that if you try to change channels from the steering wheel. I think the seat heaters will turn off after so long (much like rear window defrost). Sound like your problems are minor and not worthy of 'hating' GM.............but to each his/her own. I think there are software updates that might solve an issue or 2.
Dealerships are a bitch. Some good, some bad. And the great anarchy known as GM will take credit for the good ones and deny any relationship with the bad ones. I would try a different dealer and discuss your issue with the service manager. Good luck.

I have an appointment with a GM field rep tomorrow. I am going to go over all my issues. I agree they are small and nothing that is a safety hazard but when you buy a new car you expect it to work right. I just get fed up with all the little problems. It's really embarrassing to have someone in your car with you and it not work right. I am the only Chevy owner in our circle of friends so you can imagine the teasing I get since my Chevy has so many problems.

Sorry to hear!
I had the onstar issue, turns out it was the onstar computer that needed to be replaced. They replaced my mirror twice and it still didn't work. I had my car in the dealership 13 times in the 4 months I owned it. Check out my thread http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=295776 if you're interested to see how my nightmare turned out. My district specialist was awful, so just make sure you get email confirmations for EVERYTHING and keep careful records of trips to the dealer. Don't let them jam it all on one bill either, make sure you get a separate piece of paperwork for every trip. My advice would be that if the car is supposed to be new and not problematic and it isnt so, consult your state lemon laws.

I know your pain! My new Camaro will likely not be flying Chevy tags.
