My dealer called, and said my groundfx, fuel cap cover, cargo net, and other goodies showed up in the parts dept. today. Exciting!

so QC takes 1 MONTH~ so says chevy when i called and talked to them just now... although my car is in "Bayed" status they are still doing QC? hmmm....

I track daily, but they only update that once a week.
my dealer always tells me one day, then it shows up the next on the tracking site.
he also said there is no way of tracking the number of camaro (ie 345 of 4000) convertible because they didn't give them a number line of their own..
they came off with the coupes
via a gm email

I talked yo a couple ppl at GM when I first placed my order and was having problems getting the allocation... the first, quite honestly, were clueless. I did finally find one rep that not only knew what he was talking about, but also got mydealers allocation put through th very next day after speaking w him... I left a message for him yesterday, once I speak to him, hopefully he'll have some positive news.

What dealer did you use? I bought from Starling Chevy in Saint Cloud.... not far from you. I used to live off Alafaya by UCF...

well let me know what you find out!!! sigh with the timing now and the constant disappointing news... im kinda hoping it comes in late march! it will be a nice 25th birthday present to myself!

thanks for the info rainey85! i have high hopes like everyone else that these beauties will be shipped out soon.. i know mine was picked up with the first run of allocations (Dec 7) i would think/hope that mine would be one of the first sent out.. but that could just be me being jealous of those who already has theirs haha

I'm going to vote that they don't know what they are talking about. Not because I know something they don't, but because I don't trust customer reps on the phone. I've had to personally deal with way too many people that are told something wrong by my company's "phone specialist" because they are completely clueless

Alright Mr. Pessimist we will have none of that kinda talk here! lol. I agree most customer reps don't know jack, but I'm praying and hoping they did this time!

something screwy is going on tho.. why dont any of the cars have invoices yet? my dealer told me that chevys get an invoice then gets a VIN but they are doing it backwards this time.. did they make them too fast and are now going back to find out what they did wrong with them?
